In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all! Развлечения
Cracks me up when he dumps snibets into a milk crate with holes in the bottom of it! 😂🤣🤣🤣
That Jack is called a bumper jack and you hook it under the bumper.
missed blue container full of wire in open top where you got all the scrap containers
It's funny, I sometimes finding myself leaning in closer to the screen to see if that was scrap under that box, like I could get a better angle. Waiting for scrapping by VR.
Mike that rolling cart is a hoyer lift for lifting people that can't walk, the base(feet) open and close. to open all the way keeps them stabilized by the weight of the patients so the hoyer doesn't tip over, most usually done over bed, tub or chairs.
Absolutely correct. I have the exact item sitting here in my house right now for my husband.
I'm a LVN used them all the time, one time a CNA was working with a Patient and the sling tore at corner pt. Fell and busted her head open!! Got to examine those slings well before use!! That was alot of paperwork and care for the patient.. she was alright thank God!!
Sounds expensive 🤑
Yup, they come in alot bigger sizes too.
Can be they have high tech ones also
Watching this old one. Glad to go over a lot of them. You're so funny Mike, apart of being such a hard working man, you're funny!
Got an idea for a new tool; take an old steel head garden rake and weld one or two small sized speaker magnets on the opposite side of the head ( away from the handle) so you can pull it through the piles of scrap in a container, so you don't have to pick through every little snipit and such. Good luck 🤞
Just Wow!
That Lincoln Electric Arc sensor is an automatic sensor for welding fume extractors. It starts the extractor fan as soon as it sees you start welding....... FYI they are about $1500.......
Oh, and that first electrical box you couldn't remember the name of? Its a Variable Frequency Drive unit.... or VFD, or sometimes called a VSD where the S stands for speed instead of frequency.
I really like the fact that he is 38 and he still behaves as a 17-18 yr old guy!
Another fun shot gun ride with the King of Scavengers, Mike the Scavenger. You got lots of good stuff. Better head home, it is getting some nasty weather there.💪🏼👏🏼🦵🏼🧔🏾🛻⛽🌝🪓
Hey Mike, those Cisco units from that open top are actually managed wireless network access points for corporations/large installations. It's like your wireless router for home, but we install one per room for wifi coverage in offices and such. Your computer guy may want those!
Wifi signal booster. We have them through our our building.
Yeah, I was like NO, DON'T TOSS EM. 🤣
Always enjoy. Thanks!
Another great and entertaining video. Always enjoy them! You’re a real character and that’s meant as a true compliment. Stay safe and healthy. Love to Laura, Pat, and Selma!💕
Good day Mike
Yes Indeed! Mike the Magnificent is at it again! Don't know what I'd do without Mike the Scavenger every day!!!
Love it. Live it. Love it!
Yes open tops , you don’t hit u head, you should be take lumber, some one needs to get a channel for scrap wood, lol nice 👍,that’s what you will do fr them , oh yeah , it’s like a bunch of Mike the scavenger songs, lolll, nice thanks BigAl California. Praise Jesus grace Christ amen 🙏.
Awesome mike🦝
Hey Mike love your videos but if your chilly I am from Wisconsin and it was 10 below zero and I work outside, life is good.Stay healthy and give the pups lots of love.
Those big round buckets that are stuck together, all you need to unstick them is to slide a thin piece of metal or wood like a slim-Jim etc., down the side of each one to allow air to get into the bottom of each and they’ll come right apart. 😊😘♥️🌈🇨🇦
That is some awesome dumpsters you found that night!
Keep going Mike , there is money in the trash ! Stay healthy
I was watching tu toc, and there you came up, first time iv been first,
No wood should be placed in a dumpster, near every town there should be a wood buy center that is only a collection/holding center for chipboard manufacturing places. The yards must be clean and orderly at all times and frequently inspected.
I have sign in my company that says ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. 🙏🥰🙏
Just very entertaining and educational, as always. Not only that, but you also found so much good stuff, this series will never get boring 😃😃👍👍
Loved you chasing those plastic bags. You looked like a scavenger cheerleader when you caught them. Stay warm!!❄️
That was pretty funny. A half hour with Mike isn't long enough. 🙂
The Skeleton Dancing at the end made my day! Awesome my man!
oh my god suck it up buttercup it -31 here and 3 feet of snow . i sure do feel sorry for you all in texas lmao
Mike, we could never get bored out scavenging with you! Another entertaining video! Thank you!

Not a cart but a lift great for working on riding lawn mowers.
7:06 those are fluorescent light ballast
Another excellent video upload
That lift is called a Hoyer lift... put a sling in it and lift paraplegic. Nice piece of medical equipment. Love what you do. It helps me to relaxe seeing stuff kept out of landfill. Awesome.
My husband and I watch you together and we crack up watching you. You have no idea how much fun it is to watch with my husband. He loves to see what you find. I love how he will explain some of the things you finds cuz some I have no clue and some I do. He is amazed at what you find. Thank you for being so funny and fun to watch
Not boring at all! You make me laugh. ESP. When you drop something and it falls over.
Have a great day Mike God Bless
That's a bummer jack. It would come with all vehicles back in the day when they made good cars.
Mike nothing more to say other than you are a legend !
Your video quality is great , your comments are well your comments 😂 and you running after the plastic bags fantastic !!!

Awe, I knew you had a golden heart, Mikey. Instead of selling the trash binds, you give. Maybe Texas is the place for me. Dekalb Illinois will have to wait. I need to get out of Sodomfornia!!!!
Edited time..
I really need to stop placing comments before video ends...
Scrap and Pallet Man must is still praying for your blessings
Look at that score of wires😄! Yah boyeee!
most years when i was growing up we would get snow and ice end of November first of December and we would still have it the first of March the last 20 years not so much
Them are the jacks that we used to have they hooked to the bumper when cars had real bumpers.
Mike, what you called " some kind of rolling cart" is a hoya lift.
For lifting people , makes it easier on both people. Just passing along info. Be blessed.
TGIF fellow scrappers and scavengers 💪👍 always a great afternoon when @Mike the scavenger uploads a new video 👌

Hey Mike I remember watching you from the beginning ,this crazy, chunky ,hard working kid who worked like a fool(and still does)you give me a good time when you work not afraid to talk and work you must be a handful probably took your wife awhile to train you like your new pups. Thank you
Mike that Lincoln arch sensor shows to run about $1300
The dancing skeleton is a awesome add miss the truck cam when all you see is scrap flying out of the dumpster kinda like a bear 🐻 hunting for food or a homeless person making a bed awesome video's keep it up great job Mike
Lol on the Dancing Skeleton.
chilly here too was -14 when I checked at 5 am now it is up to 4 a 20% heat wave
My phone died, so had to go get another one . So glad I found you and others.
Don't ever think you get boring! You could have stayed in that open top and got all the other stuff and it wouldn't be boring! Also miss your "next morning" going over all you got! Have a great weekend!
Hello 👍👍👍❤❤
Mike love your videos, you left a blue scrap bucket you filled at 5 min mark in the corner…maybe you grabbed it off video. Really enjoy you work.
I noticed that too!
Jepp... 🙄😜
I just watched it 3 times and it looked like the blue garbage can just disappeared. He filled it up then turned around to grab another and when he panned around to look for stuff it was not there in either corner, unless it was covered up.
Im from indonesia... i like mike the scravenger
Tanks
2:32 - 40 Thanks for the reply. Yes, you're right, there is no scrap lumber yard waiting to pay cash. But, and this is speculation, based upon my recent experience pricing/buying wood, I'd guess if you built up a pile of 2x4s you could easily sell the lot at half lumber-yard prices thru one of the regular online channels: You'd make way WAY more than on the wire.
He did say he doesn't have the space to do that and even recently downsized his storage locker.
Lumber yards sometimes buy em as reclaimed or recycled lumber
Doing a good dead & greasing the skids at same time Outstanding
Great video. Thanks for the upload
Mike you didn’t call the cops to see if they could get the poor cat??…🥺🥺🥺
Мике здравии💰💰💰💪💪💪💪👍👍👍
Hi Mike that medical cart is used to lift elderly people in and out of bed
As always, thanks for the ride along
I got lucky Tuesday I was out and about and I check out a few dumpster. Dollar rama behind the gate somebody put a whole bunch of bags with beer cans in them. Took em all to the beer store and got$11.50 5min work. Love your videos. You are one of a kind, a beautiful sense of humor and energy

You poor Texans, my sister in St. Catherines Ontario Canada just got 4’ of snow in just over 3 hours and she was still experiencing a Blizzard 🌨. Thanks, Mike. New SA subscriber here. I love learning new things in your videos. Thanks for keeping all this out of the landfill. I’ve learned to give much thought into what I recycle vs what I sand to the landfill. Keep rocking it!

Goodnight scrappy scrap Mike x
Stay warm bro!
See that trash can get the assist when Mike was putting the slam dunk on that cabinet?😂
Hey Mike, just to let you know, some of those older car jacks are worth some good money. Hard to tell what it came off of. You tossed it to fast. But it's all there except the tire iron. Sometimes they will have the manufacturer's stamp on it.
Yes those jacks can be worth money to a person who is restoring an older car for sure. do NOT scrap that for sure.
@@larryfarmer7774 My brother in New Jersey bought a nice 1973 Dodge Charger and didn't have one in the trunk. I live in Michigan and it took me a year give or take to find one. I paid a $125 for it, all 3 pieces. It wasn't rusty but did need a repaint.
Looks like 60's GM bumper jack. Somebody is looking for one of those.
@@franko2k That jack Mike found is for the slits in the old chrome bumpers
Also Best to have two trucks and after you fill it up go back home and drop it off and bring the other truck back and refill it if you find an open top with lots of metals
yesssss
I wish I still had my old jack like that .those was the best
we have a home salvage yard near my home that has brick and lumber from homes and buildings that have been torn down large floor beams from the 1900's and such.
That sounds like a good idea.
As always Super Mike a job well done! Look! It's a Bird! No it's a plane! No, it's Super Mike! Cruising the hiways and byways in his MikeMobile cleverly disguised as a Ford F-150 but as we all know it can fly and it can soar on the lookout for a little more!
Got to love those open tops
The part that was found with the wheelchair is a Hoist for lifting heavy patients
we need more longer videos @Mike the scavenger
A while back you was finding all those CPAP machines. I found out there was a nationwide recall on them. They were being sued. Didn't find out much more. Hopefully you got scrap for them. I miss your intro dear. Keep on scrapping. Stay safe and GOD bless

Good day to you too mike another orsome video to watch every little helps hope life is treating you well and dogs are doing ok as always stay safe out there respect bro ✊😎
