The game ramps up its difficulty constantly based on items you should have, but are completely missable. Souls has nothing on this game. This game is pain. 😔😔😔

I have to google every boss. This is crazy. This boss shits on me, do literal chicken scratches to him. The logic is bang your head against this boss until you realize he’s impossible. Run back to the entrance of the dungeon. give an item that you found in that dungeon to an npc. then somehow know to find another random hard to find npc in the field and talk to him, so that you can use another item you found in the dungeon to talk to two trees you have to go and find, and then they give you a weapon that can actually damage the boss.

Dark Souls does have bosses like that but they put the weapon in the boss room since they know we are retarded lol

the worst i’ve ever dealt with in Souls is the Nameless King. I had to swap my armour to “optimize” and then I almost gave up on him. The nice thing about this game is you can save in the boss room and the fights are really quick, so you can reload in an instant and go again.

Can’t remember if I killed vendrick. Looks familiar, though. I remember I had a word doc list of all the bosses, so I didn’t kiss any optional one. And i’m Pretty sure the last boss I killed was the ancient dragon, or whatever the the giant dragon was called, before I quit. I know Alex said I was really close to the end.

Been looking into the Atelier series for the past week. Found out there’s 2 new ones, but one of them is a crossover with the whole series that let you build the town. Basically Darkcloud, so it should be pretty cool.
