To be fair, MOSTLY it's not DPC but one or two of the mods that are extremely triggerhappy banning folks that they simply don't like, for [insert ridiculous reason here]...Welcome to the club. Pinkcake likes to block people because of his ego. I was also blocked from Patreon and Discord just because I said the Josy/Maya path was great.

I think DPC doesn't care about "modern politics". He makes fun of it in the guise of a radical feminist group, and I heard that he banned a critic who complained about the lack of same-sex romances and asked DPC if it was possible to introduce this option.Why hasn't anyone thought of just telling him you're "Trans" even if its not true. That's about the only thing that will get you special treatment. Half of NY, California and the UK would fall on his head should he discriminate on you. I'm pretty sure you'd have enough freedom to call him a cocksucker to his face without any backlash.
And he's an indie developer who closed a comment section on his Twitter, woke mob can't do anything to him.

Anyone think DPC will get the new RTX 5090 cards as soon as they come out? How much of an impact would they actually have on development time? (Knowing him he'll make everything 4k or some shit)
I can't remember how much of an impact the 4090s that he got had and it's not really a fair comparison as at that point he was still doing 30fps.

The impact from the RTX 4090s in BAK was minimal since DPC started doing 60fps animations (and some 90/120 ones too for some god forsaken reason) around the same time he upgraded his PCs.
The RTX 5090 will be quite powerful as I said before, the bigger VRAM would be specially useful for DPC when he needs to render complex scenes like the costume competion scene with all the party present.
He also mentioned running out of system RAM as well while rendering, so a PC upgrade wouldn't go amiss.
Of course we can't say for certain how much that would improve speeds, like you said DPC can always find something to waste most of the power from it.
I doubt he would do 4K, but he could easily tweak some DAZ settings to improve the render quality in a very minor way and waste all the perfomance.
However, I doubt he would upgrade his GPUs this soon though, it would be a substatial purchase (even if he could afford it with just a month of patreon money).
Lets hope the eventual backlash from EP 11 taking more than a year be enough for him to feel forced to do it, but I doubt it would make the time between updates fall below a year.

Yeah, DPC is immune unless he does something completly retarted, which he won't, since as much as we like to insult him here, he is not dumb.
Also Geralt, since you are a DAZ user, would you say that DPC could increase the light rays amount in his renders to "lose" the extra performance from an eventual upgrade to a RTX 5090?
You know, this makes sense, I doubt DPC wants to waste time banning people in discord.
I bet some, not all of course, shit we say about DPC is some overzealous mod fault.

In DAZ lighting settings you can increase the number of points from which the light will be reflected to enhance Path Tracing, but knowing the DPC it will come up with something else, for example, render everything in 4K
He could have benefited from simply spending more time working on static renders to make them prettier with additional effects setup. Specifying the light geometry as a disk or cylinder instead of a point source greatly improves the quality of shadows, and DoF makes the image more voluminous. He should have focused on eliminating minor flaws rather than making pointless improvements. Since he working like a manufactory posing ~200 statics per week, He often ignores the shortcomings.
